House & Clouds

#4 - The House

A house can be very symbolic to many of us. We learn how to draw it as children with crayons as a square with a rectangle for a door, and a square or circle with a line through it for a window. It has 4 walls and a ceiling, generally. We may even embellish it with paint, pretty Victorian features, a lovely garden, and the sun and clouds in the sky overhead. As we edge through childhood and int youth, the house becomes our home, our base, the place where we feel safe. As we grow the house becomes our fortress, and our place of peace. “House” may also be referring to our church, temple, or synagogue. It is the place where we feel the safest in the world. It is where we shelter our families, pets, and earthly belongings. It’s a very big deal to turn over a key to our significant other, or to move a spouse into our home.

A house card can indicate that we feel unstable in our lives, or that that stability is likely to come to us shortly in the future. It may bring up feelings of safety, security, and the ability or inability to save finances. We may feel like our household is behind on chores, bills, and financial obligations. Homes are often the first way we describe someone’s wealth. We describe people as living in a farmhouse, or shack, or a mansion. We rarely ever just say that someone has a house unless we are describing when they first move into it or buy it. Homes to us are literally our shelter against the rain, our protection against the cold, and our barrier against outsiders. Figuratively homes represent our success, our failure, and our projects ahead.

Receiving this card is a likely sign that you will continue to build on your stability, and your success, and that your shelter will continue to grow. It may also mean that there is a crack in your foundation and you need to repair it so that your four walls can stay strong and continue to be built upon. It is strongly advised when receiving a house card that you double check all facets of your life, love, career, family, and friends — to make sure that the foundation is stable and there are no cracks that have gone too long without maintenance.

#6 - The Clouds

The cloud card isn’t necessarily a bad thing, but it isn’t necessarily good either. Think about clouds and the role they play in our lives. Have you ever described something good, fun, positive as cloudy? A good day is a sunny day. A bad day is a rainy day. But a cloudy day is probably an overcast day, a day that might be full of uncertainty. Weather wise, how many times have you packed a bag for the beach or park, only to look out the window and see a cloudy day? This is such a confusing thing. Is it going to be overcast? Will I still get sunburned? Is it going to rain? Is wind rolling in? Clouds can be very ambiguous, and there are different types of clouds.

While clouds can indicate sadness, or depression, typically they indicate uncertainty, confusion, or perhaps even the inability to make a decision. When our judgement is not clear, or good, we often use the expression “clouded judgement.” Clouds can indicate smoke, a smoker, or the outdoors. They may warn us of upcoming storms. They may be trying to tell us something about the lungs. Or indicate something gray. A cloud card may indicate that things are coming in our future that may not be what they first appear. It may also indicate that you need to make a decision about something that you’ve been foggy or fuzzy about in the past. It is time for those clouds to clear and you to move forward into the sunshine. Receiving this card is a likely sign that you will face a difficult decision and be depressed about being forced to make this decision. Don’t despair, for every cloud has a silver lining. Make your decision quickly and efficiently, and the clouds will part quickly.

House + Clouds

Because the home may indicate stability in your life, and the clouds indicate uncertainty — the obvious meaning here when they are combined is that you are uncertain about your stability, or the level of your stability is uncertain. You may live in a home that is not paid for and be having trouble paying your mortgage. You may be a renter and be having issues with your landlord. You might be thinking about taking a new job that would completely uproot yourself and your family. Whatever the reason, this instability is not good for you, and you need to make a decision or enact on this instability soon, for it will only get worse if you do not make an efficient and quick decision.

Numerology

The house is represented by the number 4, and the clouds are represented by the number 6. When we add these numbers together, 4+6 = 10. Because ten is not a single digit number, we must then add the digits of 10 together, and we get 1. 1 + 0 = 1.

The Number 1

The Number 1 — The number one is so important in our culture. It could have divine reference and be used to depict our Lord or God, depending on what religion we follow. It may symbolize the President, Governor, Mayor, or leader of a country or city. It may be a Principal, teacher, or educator, or some kind of boss. It may symbolize the head of a family, tribe, or community. In sports, number 1 is the very best and the team leader, or player that all other players strive to emulate. “One” can mean first, or best, or a combination of both. The alpha, the beginning. Surely, someone who is number one either has the ability to see the future, or is smart enough to have an idea that something is about to happen. In this case, number one likely refers to the fact that the news will directly affect the person who is number one in your life, meaning yourself. It could also mean that the news will revolve around something very important to you. It might signify something that is happening quickly, or prominently in your life. Typically, the number one signifies one minute, one day, one week, one month, or even one year. It could even be trying to represent the month of January, the date 2021, or the time of 1:00PM. 1 can also be our expression number. Have you ever heard of your expression number? This is a number that is derived from the letters of our full birth name, and reveals the talents, abilities and shortcomings you hold in this lifetime.

Anything that you can do to decrease the uncertainty in your stability is a good thing. Make sure your bank accounts and finances are in order. Apply for lines of credit if you do not already have some. Try to limit your spending until you are in a better position and you know what lies ahead. Beef up your resume and make sure you have no danger of getting fired from your job. Finally, organize your homestead and make sure everything is ready, should you be uprooted quickly.

Affirmation

“I have no idea what lies ahead and this terrifies me, so all I can do is recognize the uncertainty that I feel and do everything within my power to make the uncertain more certain. I will work hard at my job, on my savings, and to organize my homestead to make sure that I am working toward a more stable future” Repeat this affirmation 2-3 times today.
