The tower is often depicted as a tall tower, shaped like the letter A, with a large bottom and a tiny top and scaffolding across the middle to link the two slanted sides. It often looks like the Eiffel tower, as pictured here, unlike a tall and round tower made from bricks that you’d see in castles described in fairy tales, but it’s meant to be no specific tower. The tower symbolism often conveys ideas of corporations, large buildings, sky scrapers, royalty, people in power. It may even refer to schools, the military, or some type of large institution. It can call forth feelings of standards, hierarchy, ego, class, and social and financial status or limitations. We often automatically think that a farm or countryside indicates people of poor financial status, while a tower, apartment building, or penthouse may indicate people with a wealthy financial status. The 1980’s television program “The Jeffersons” talked about “moving on up to that deluxe apartment in the sky” in the theme song and theme of the program. Health wise, a tower could indicate the bones, spine, back or neck.
A tower card usually indicates that you will begin to rise up or move up throughout your work and social life. This may be isolated — your friends and family may not make this rise or benefit from this rise with you. This may lead to strife among your partner and you, or friends and yourself. Make sure that you are prepared for this strife and potential jealousy. Do everything that you can to make sure that this promotion or positive change will not isolate you from the people who love you and try to help you on a daily basis.
The ship card depicts a large water vessel, sails fully outstretched, moving across the seas. The boat or ship is one of the most easily discernible symbols, and from first glance it reminds us of stories of travel that we’ve heard from childhood. The ship represents a real life voyage to a far away destination, a journey that may even bring to the traveler riches or cargo from a far away land. The ship card may also refer to a long-lost love returning to you, or exciting news from someone you haven’t heard from in a very long time. You may even clean out a garage, basement, or forgotten closet and find a “message in a bottle.” Just like looking forward to an upcoming trip, the ship card indicates that you will put hopes or resources into an opportunity and hope for a positive return. It may even be a new business venture or partnership, even an impending marriage. In a literal sense, it may even refer to an upcoming cruise or fishing expedition. Most of the time, though, the ship card is speaking to the journey ahead and the joys and souvenirs it will bring. Life is a journey and not solely about the destination, so as the French would say, Bon Voyage! It’s time to break that bottle of wine against the side of the ship and take off on an amazing adventure.
When the tower and ship cards are combined it’s likely referencing the official parts of your journey. If you’re flying through the airport, you’ll have to deal with federal TSA agents, air marshals, and all sorts of other officials. If you’re taking a cruise, you’ll have to go through each port. No matter what your mode of transportation, you’ll have to pass through customs if you’re traveling internationally. Make sure you have everything that is required for these interactions with the government, whether it be identification, passport, or anything else of that nature. If you’re thinking about trying to smuggle something, the presence of these two cards together may indicate that that’s a terrible idea. Generally though, there is no negative connotation with these two cards, rather, that if you’re prepared for the logistics of your trip, you will end up having a wonderful adventure.

Beyoncé and Jay-Z have done a lot of things according to the number 4, which is very important to them. Both of their birthdays are on the 4th, and their wedding anniversary is 4-4 — they even have IV wedding ring tattoos. Beyoncé also has an album named 4, and has released albums on dates with four or adding up to four. Finally, their daughter Blue Ivy, is named a first name with 4 letters and a second name Ivy as a shout out to the roman numeral four.
Make sure that all of your travel documents are in order. If you were on the fence about whether to renew your passport, you should, just in case. You should make sure that you have all of the questions answered about your travels in advance. If you’re not planning a trip at this moment, you should still get everything in order because these cards indicate that there is international travel in your future, or in the future of a loved one.
