Prayers for Mourning and the Departed

Blessed are they that mourn, for they shall be comforted. This was God's word to his people. It is simply saying everyone who grieves or feels the sorrow of loss, shall receive the strength and comfort they need to bear the loss.

Loss is a painful thing and it takes strength to get through the situation.

Are you going through pain because of the loss of a loved one? Be encouraged. The bible says as children of God, do not mourn like the heathens or the unbelievers, because this world is not the end. There is life after death and someday, you will see your loved one again.

Instead, pray for strength and pray that God rests the soul of the departed.
