Surrendering to something or someone can be very challenging. It takes a lot of courage to let down your guard and surrender. It doesn't matter if you are right or wrong, surrendering could be difficult and its only God who can help you.
Say this prayer:
Good God, there is nothing I can do without your help. At this point, surrendering is quite difficult but I need to do this now and I need the courage and strength to go about it. Remove every weakness from my bones, help me to stay strong, and help me to surrender, hallowed be your name, Amen.
