God can touch the heart of any man so when you pray for the leaders of the country, you are stirring their hearts in the direction of being more responsible in fulfilling their roles and also always doing the right thing.
Read 1 Timothy 2:1-2 and then say the following prayers.
Heavenly Father, thank you for the people that are in positions of leadership in the country. Thank you for the good health they enjoy. I ask today that you grant them wisdom to make the right decisions. I pray earnestly that they are not overcome by greed and selfishness. They will not be tools for the devil to stop your work on earth. Dear God, in all they do, they are considerate of the people. Help them to genuinely care about the citizens. Give them new strategies on how to further make the country a better place to live. Amen.
