Whether you believe in the power of prayer or not, when we do pray, we ask for a higher power to speak to us.
Some of us think that praying out loud makes it easier for higher beings to listen. But there's no rule saying that you have to talk out loud. You could even whisper into a pillow or write things in a diary.
In prayer, we convey our wishes. The higher power will grant them to us if they hear our prayer.
Listening to prayer in your spirituality
We can discern when a higher being communicates with us through listening to prayer. You don't speak out loud; you simply listen to what God or the universe says to you.
You might think it sounds like a passive way to pray, but it works very well because it allows us to open our hearts to the planet around us. As a result, we become more aware of a presence and a voice and open ourselves up to the universe. Therefore, it becomes more straightforward to comprehend what the universe wants from us.
This is used when we are going through growth. For example, we might use it while deciding whether to take their relationship to marriage. Or we might use it to decide whether to move in together. Or we could use it while thinking about having children.
The most important thing to remember is that listening to prayer isn't just a technique to make us feel better. Instead, it's a tool to connect with our firmer beliefs. And once you start doing it more often, you'll get closer to them daily.
Listening to prayer as a follower of God
Those of us who have faith in God know that He is the origin of all discernment. Like in other faith-based ideologies, your God knows what you need better than you do. But do we make the most of this guidance, and how often?
We are called to pray and manifest even when times are difficult, and sometimes we don't want to hear what this higher force has to say.
Our prayers are like our thoughts; we think we know what we need, but we really don't. Therefore, as spiritual beings, we must ask for help because that is the source of all truth.
When we ask for wisdom, we are given understanding. If we ask for anything else, we can visualize it and receive whatever we ask.
Prayer as a way the universe speaks to us when things seem silent
Your higher power speaks to you in many different ways. It's important to thank the universe for the world you live in, which can be shown around you. Sometimes it speaks to us through nature, like the beautiful sunset or the sound of rain falling on the roof. Other times, it speaks to us through people.
For example, a friend might tell you something important about yourself, or someone else might give you advice that helps you decide on something you've prayed on. In addition to these encounters, it sometimes speaks to us through silence. If we listen to our inner selves, we can hear a voice.
We should trust this power even if it seems silent because the universe wants to work with us and always does what is best for us. Although it may seem difficult to understand why things happen the way they do, we know there is a higher force who knows what is best for us better than we do ourselves.
If we want to learn how to hear the universe speak clearly, we just need to open our ears and listen carefully through meditation and prayer.
When we pray, we're listening for this voice. And sometimes, we just need to stop talking. If we keep praying, we'll eventually hear the world speaking to us, so we need silence to connect through prayer and solitude. Sometimes, we need to step back and stop rushing to let the higher force speak.
Letting go of our ideas helps us hear the truth better. Through prayer, we can listen to ourselves being spoken to every day. But many times, we miss it. Like why do some people hear God while others never encounter Him?
There could be many explanations why a voice hasn't spoken to you lately. Maybe you've been busy doing something else. Or perhaps you're not really paying attention to what is around you. So, consider opening up during prayer and be ready to accept the gifts directed to you.
