Ringing in your ears may feel like you're growing as a spiritual being and having a Kundalini awakening. Something is unlocking the serpent power within yourself, which has been dormant this whole time.

So, what is Kundalini? Kundalini means "coiled" in the Sanskrit language. It refers to the serpent power within us that lies waiting to awaken. When it does, we experience what is called a Kundalini awakening. This powerful force is located deep inside our bodies, usually in the lower abdomen.

The term Kundalini was coined by Yogi Bhajan, the founder of the Sikh religion. He used it to describe the spiritual awakening he experienced while meditating under the Himalayan Mountains. He believed that the Kundalini energy could rise along the spine and enter the brain, transforming you into a divine being.

There are many methods to prepare yourself for a Kundalini awakening. For example, you can do yoga, meditation, chanting, breathing exercises, fasting, and even eating certain foods.

Some people believe food itself can trigger the process. In addition, some people say that drinking water helps raise the Kundalini. Others claim that taking cold showers increases energy.

Benefits of a Kundalini awakening

When you start to understand the concept behind Kundalini, it becomes clear why it plays such a big role in spirituality. For example, the ringing you hear could signify that you're ready to awaken this dormant experience.

For example, when you have a Kundalini awakening, you notice the world in front of you. Because you are awake, you notice things others don't and begin understanding what reality is. And, as you gain awareness, you expand your consciousness.

This expansion of consciousness leads to compassion. You naturally want to help others. You realize that everyone needs love and support. As a result, you desire to do good in the world.

In addition, Kundalini awakens and gives you heightened psychic abilities. These include telepathy, clairvoyance, precognition, and intuition. By developing these skills, you can use them to improve your relationships, make better decisions, and even predict future events.

Finally, Kundalini helps you achieve inner peace. It brings balance to your mind and body. You no longer worry about external circumstances. Instead, you focus on yourself. You learn to appreciate everything you already have. You find joy in simple pleasures. And you finally stop trying to control every facet of your life.

Signs and symptoms

Kundalini is a subtle type of energy that lives within all of us. When you feel like something is happening inside of you, it probably is. But what do you do about it?

Three main types of people respond well to Kundalini: those who let it happen naturally, those who try to control it, and those who don't even notice it.

The first group includes people who wake up naturally. They're usually very happy and relaxed because they live in blissful ignorance. If you fall into this category, congratulations! You're one of the lucky ones who live life without knowing what's happening.

The second group is people who try to control it. These are the "I must meditate every day" types. You may know someone like this. They tend to be stressed out a lot. Yet, they want to improve their condition and think meditation is the right answer.

Finally, some don't even realize that Kundalini is happening. They're the ones who say things like, "I don't feel like doing yoga today." This saying is a fine example of ignoring the signs.

You might ask yourself why you aren't feeling like doing yoga. Maybe you had a rough night. Or perhaps you're sick. Whatever the reason, take care of yourself and give yourself some space. Don't push yourself too hard—just rest.

Experiencing mental visions

Mental visions are common among those who meditate and accompany ringing ears. They are sometimes called "visual hallucinations," but they're actually quite different from ordinary visual hallucinations.

Mental visions are not hallucinations at all. Instead, they are simply images that pop into our minds without us having to do anything special, like some who experience a kundalini awakening. Some people see angels, while others see demons, fairies, or animals. Others don't even notice what they're seeing.

For example, you might see a vision that someone close to you isn't feeling very well. Others may believe that this signals that you should contact that person. Or maybe you've just heard some bad news, and this has cemented what has happened.
