The electrical appliances acting strangely could be related to your energy not being balanced. In other words, it could be mimicking what's happening internally in your life.

Energy management is about balancing all four forms of energy – spiritual, mental, emotional, and physical. This includes eating well, getting enough sleep, exercising regularly, managing stress, taking breaks throughout the day, and being mindful of how much time you spend doing each thing.

Of course, your energy level varies depending on your activity. So, it's important to know your energy level and how it differentiates throughout the day.

Your energy affects others around you, including those you lead. If you're feeling low, your team members will likely feel it too. When you're stressed, you'll show it in your body language, and your people will pick up on it.

Your chakras

Seven chakras exist inside your body. But we'll focus on the main five that could be imbalanced and how your energy imbalance may affect different aspects of your life.

Muladhara or root chakra

The Muladhara chakra is found at the bottom of the spine, about 2 inches below the tailbone. This energy center governs basic needs like food, water, and sleep. So if you're feeling stressed out, it could be because you haven't had enough rest. You might also experience anxiety due to feelings of insecurity.

Swadhisthana or sacral chakra

This energy center is associated with creativity, sexuality, and self-expression. People with sacral imbalance tend to be overly sensitive and emotional. As a result, connections, relationships, and intimacy can become more pressing issues.

When your sacral chakra is imbalanced, you'll feel:

  • Emotionally unstable
  • Unable to sleep well
  • Having difficulty keeping up with daily activities
  • Experiencing physical discomfort
  • Not being able to concentrate
  • Feeling overwhelmed by life events
  • Feeling anxious about money

Manipura or solar plexus chakra

The solar plexus chakra is located near the navel and relates to power, confidence, and self-esteem. People with strong solar plexus tend to be assertive and confident.

However, people with weak solar plexus chakras tend to lack self-confidence and may even suffer from low self-esteem.

If your solar plexus chakra isn't balanced, the feelings include the following:

  • Feeling like you are constantly being watched
  • Being overly critical of yourself
  • Worrying about what others think of you
  • Having difficulty making decisions
  • Not feeling confident enough to speak up
  • Fearing rejection
  • Wanting to please everyone else

Anahata or heart chakra

The heart chakra is located in the middle of the chest, between the nipples. This energy center governs love, compassion, and forgiveness. A person with a healthy heart chakra tends to be loving, compassionate, and forgiving.

In contrast, someone with an unhealthy heart chakra tends to hold grudges and harbor resentment towards others.

When your heart chakra is imbalanced, the following may happen:

  • You begin to believe that life is unfair and that we deserve what we get.
  • You may feel jaded about being loved and even start believing you don't deserve it.
  • You may feel like you've lost yourself in love with someone least expected.
  • You may think that you're unlovable.
  • You may feel like you're always the victim of some injustice.
  • You may even feel like you're a victim of life itself.

Vishuddha or throat chakra

This energy center signifies speaking one's mind without fear or hesitation. When we can express our thoughts freely, we become free thinkers. We gain confidence in ourselves because we know how to articulate our ideas.

We express our feelings and emotions when we use our voices to convey them. Our throats allow us to say things we would generally keep to ourselves. We can hurt others if we don't let go of negative feelings. Letting go of those negative feelings permits people to do the same.

If you think your throat chakra is imbalanced, you may be:

  • Feeling anxious, nervous, worried, or fearful
  • Having trouble expressing yourself clearly
  • Overly concerned about other people's opinions of you
  • Struggling to speak up for yourself
  • Fearing rejection
  • Overthinking about what you eat or drink
  • Feeling guilty or ashamed about something you've done
