Remember those days when you were at school? You would be playing in the playground at break time or lunch, and you would be running through the other children, without a care in the world. You may have been playing catch, tag, or simply enjoying life in the fresh air. Suddenly, out of nowhere, the teacher would ring the dreaded bell, signaling the end of play, and for you to return to class.

The tolling that rang out across the field or concrete would be a sign that you would need to head back inside, and on the warmest of sunniest of days, that would have inevitably been very difficult to do. No matter what, you had to obey orders, and all because of the sound of that bell. It was the one sound you hated, because you just had that short time you could be free, running on love and nature. The only care you had was to have as much fun as you could, in the time you had.

Now, as an adult, or certainly someone who doesn't rely on a bell to get back to learning, you hear the sound again, and the chimes take you right back to those moments where your shoulders dropped, and you did as you were told. Now though, they are being rung by your angels, who want you to know that all those times you returned to class, it was to learn, grow, and be the person you were today. Nothing can take that away, despite how blue the bell made you feel at the time.

The tolling is also a reminder that something in your current life is ending. What could that be, and how do you fit into it? If you have been running low in a certain area lately, you have probably felt something fizzle out, as if there is no more firewood to keep it going. After using up all your supplies, you've watched the last flames turn to cinder, and are now being signaled by your angels to move on, and leave that part of your life behind you.

What do you think about initially when you hear of a part of your life ending? A common thought is the fear that comes with starting something new, or saying goodbye to an old part of you, and releasing it into your past. It's scary to not have it be a present and working part of you, therefore many choose to hold on to what no longer serves them, because the fear is simply too big to digest.

Those more ambitious, will gladly cut the strings, and whilst admirable, isn't for us all. That is why angels visit those who are less likely to let go, and offer a sign that they are in support of you. They know when it is time to bid a habit, person, job or hobby farewell. It could even be an inner voice, or an unhelpful thought that keeps cropping up, causing you to be stuck, unable to move ahead because of this huge block in your path, that is fairly easy to actually move, with a little grit and determination.

Cutting cords is hard. Once done, can never be undone, and so the delay to do so is both frustrating and unhealthy. The world awaits you, if you want to see what it has to offer, you must listen to the sound of those bells and take your mind back to when you were young, and had to say goodbye to play. As you walked into your school feeling slightly deflated, you knew in the long run you couldn't just play all your life. And all that learning got you to be the wise, kind person you are today.

Now, here you are, ready to make your mark on the world. The bells are chiming, the love is in abundance, and your angels are holding you and cheering you on whilst you say goodbye to the old you. There is beauty in letting go, and there is much hope to be had when you embrace new and exciting opportunities. Your angels are on your side, so let them guide you.
